I’m not only GOING to Sewing Summit 2012, I’m TEACHING there too!!
I’m so excited!! Really Excited. And even better, I’m teaching a SERGER class. A BABYLOCK SERGER class!! Could it get any better??
Not only am I honored to be included with such wonderful other teachers, I get to share my love of sergers. And its going to be hands on. That’s right, a room full of sergers! In case you get worried, I have done this before in my previous employment. In fact, I used to teach Babylock Serger classes, a lot, like several times a week for years. I even own a Babylock Serger as my main serger.
So what about the class? So far, I’m calling it….
“A e-or-i Case”
Do have an naked eReader? A not so well dressed iPad. A poor neglected eTablet? An iPhone that you are hoping doesn’t get too banged up in your bag? Well, we can fix all that! We will be making a padded case, of your choice, to fit a wide variety of technology gadgets. If you don’t have a naked gadget around, and have no good friends who could use a wonderful handmade gift, then luckily this case can be easily used to store a steno pad or small sketchbook! Isn’t life wonderful??
I can’t wait to see y’all in my class! (See, after just 2 years in Austin, I now can type that without giggling)
If you want to know more about me, read a bit on my blog or follow me on twitter or pinterest or instagram or flickr. Just a hint, I’m “Fiberosity” in all of those wonderful places.
