I got a little behind. This week’s feature isn’t a great tool, but it is definitely pretty.
It’s a thread holder. Lets say that you have a cone of wonderful thread, but cones don’t go on most sewing machines well. In that case you would need a cone holder. It also correctly unspools the cone so that you avoid thread twist. Sounds awful, doesn’t it? Who would want thread twist?? Not me, definitely, not me.
To be fair, there are other options that are a tad bit cheaper. But I don’t buy my quilts at Walmart either, no matter how inexpensive the options. I prefer handmade items. Oh and these are handmade, so I’m supporting an artist. Yeah, that’s it 😉 This was a birthday present for me from my family and they ordered this lovely tool at Paul’s Metal Petals.
It’s lovely and I enjoy it every time I use it.
