without braces!! I never thought this day would come and its only been 2 years. Two years of whining, no taffy at the coast. On a side note, if you have never had salt water taffy, you must try some, fresh! Pouting every time we have corn on the cob. I forgot last week and roasted some corn on the grill. I was not the favored parent that evening, to say the least.
I am very relieved that she has no damage to her enamel. With her dedication to brushing and flossing (not) and her commitment to taking care of her hardware (again, not), I was expecting some damage. Oh and that little card that hung on the fridge outlining the dangers of soda…..well…..her Dr. Pepper love was greater than the dangers.
On the bright side, her ortho gives each client a goodie bag filled with stuff they cannot eat. So she has a bottle of sparkling cider, milk duds, chewy stuff, hard candy and cracker jacks. She is living life to the fullest.
