Central Texas Wildfire Quilt Drive

Heather from Modern Day Quilts is heading up the effort. She had some great ideas to make things faster.

• Don’t worry about fancy piecing, strips are fine. Wide strips are fine.
• Most batting can be quilted 8″-12″ apart. Use that as a guideline. Be sure and check your batting instructions first. As a note, I went a bought some Warm and White last night for my quilts and it states 10″.
• Our goal is to distribute in October when things are settling down and it’s getting cold at night in Texas.
