I have spent hours in the sewing studio the past few days. And in this time, no machines have been turned on, no presser feet put down, no foot petals pushed. Nope, its homecoming this week. And in Texas, the land of Friday Night Lights, its a big deal. Very big deal. I have been busy making homecoming mums. I had never heard nor seen such a thing until I moved here. I still don’t really get it, but my glue gun and stapler are getting a work out!
(if you are clueless like I was, google “Homecoming Mums” and look at the images. Yes, girls wear more than one of these things. And yes, I do believe that they single-handedly keep the craft stores in business.)
