I do enjoy the sewing as they get older. Ellie, pictured here, with hair of gold, is in her 3rd year of 4-H. We have moved beyond the simple to the more advanced. YES!!! She still can’t work with a lot of knits. I don’t know what their problem is, knits are easy. Especially if you have a serger with differential feed. Oh yes, that makes everything perfect.
She had decided to start with an apron. Well, actually, I saw the fabric paired together in a quilt shop with several apron patterns and picked it up for her. She loves blue. Blue with brown is even better. Tied together with a pretty ribbon, its perfection.
